Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work is required.
• 3 years of experience with children and families required.
• LCSW or LICSW licensure upon hire required.
• Bilingual preferred; strong crisis intervention skills essential.
• Ability to liaise with law enforcement and testify as needed.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Experience working in multi-system environments (law enforcement, judiciary, social services, mental health, medical).
• Trauma-informed approach and knowledge of child maltreatment/protective services.

Responsibilities

• Accepts/triages referrals; provides crisis intervention and assessments, including suicidality screening.
• Conducts psychosocial assessments and develops intervention plans.
• Triages to appropriate services and documents clearly.
• Collaborates with hospital and community resources to support treatment goals.
• Educates staff on psychosocial issues affecting patients and families.
