Job summary

Clear Creek ISD is seeking a part-time Child Nutrition Worker at Westbrook Intermediate in Friendswood, Texas to support school meal service, follow menu recipes, and ensure food safety and sanitation. The role involves preparing quantities, operating kitchen equipment, and maintaining clean storage while following district policies.

A valid food handler permit is required or must be obtained within 60 days.

Qualifications

• Valid food handler permit or ability to obtain one within 60 days of employment.

• Reading comprehension and basic math skills.
• Working knowledge of kitchen equipment and food production.
• Minimum of one-year experience in quantity food production preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a valid food handler permit.
• Prepare quality food according to a planned menu of tested, uniform recipes.
• Maintain proper storage, care of food items and supplies; clean and organized storage.
