Job summary

Kent Consortium is seeking a Child Nutrition Production Utility to support cafeteria operations. Responsibilities include cashiering, setup, serving, and cleanup in the kitchen, with flexibility for other duties as assigned by the Director of Child Nutrition Services.

The role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to work as part of a team in a busy school environment. Physical effort includes lifting up to 50 pounds and occasional travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Experience with cash registers and POS systems.
• Experience with receiving and inventorying food orders.

Position

Child Nutrition Production Utility

Position Purpose

The Production Utility is responsible for cashiering, set-up, serving, and clean-up in the assigned kitchen. This person will be required to perform other duties as assigned by the Directorof Child Nutrition Services or his/her designee.

Schedule

3 hours/day, 5 days/week, 38 weeks/year (flexible)

• Detail successful experiences in communication with supervisors and fellowstaff.
• Previous work experience in the food services industry.
• Knowledge of state guidelines and regulations for food preparation.
• Previous experience with cash registers and point of sale systems.
• Experience with the receiving and inventorying of food orders from vendors.
