Job Summary: The CHILD NUTRITION PROFESSIONAL is an individual contributor who supports daily cafeteria operations by assisting with food preparation, serving, cashiering, sanitation, and customer service. This position helps create a safe, welcoming, and efficient cafeteria environment where students can enjoy nutritious meals.

Daily responsibilities may vary based on kitchen needs and student schedules.

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Working Conditions: 4 hours per day, 5 days per week, 184 days per school year calendar.
Per salary schedule at Lakota, starting at $15.28 per hour, based on verified previous experience.

Applicants that are offered positions shall be required to submit to an FBI/BCII criminal background check. Failure to satisfactorily pass the criminal background check based on the discretion of the Board of Education will preclude an individual from employment with the district.
