Qualifications

• Knowledge of nutritional values of foods used in substitutions.
• Ability to relate to children and adults positively.
• Must be able to lift at least 35 lbs without assistance and 50 lbs with assistance.
• Familiar with USDA meal patterns.

Responsibilities

• Provides nutritious meals and assists with meal preparation and service.
• Follow CACFP meal patterns and required portion sizes.
• Maintain and check inventory; assist with orders and invoicing.
• Keep a clean, sanitary kitchen and proper storage of foods.
• Support nutrition education activities in classrooms.
