A 50% FTE position requires at least 3 years of experience and CCLS certification, with BLS also required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-time experience as a Child Life Specialist in a hospital or ambulatory care setting.
• CCLS certification is required.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers required within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and evaluate individual and group child life programs.
• Advocate for children and families to promote development and minimize psychological trauma.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to support learning, self-esteem, and family involvement.
