University Health System – San Antonio is seeking a Child Life Specialist to provide a therapeutic milieu for hospitalized children, addressing psychosocial and developmental needs. You will conduct daily therapeutic interventions and supervise Foster Grandparents, volunteers and students in the Child Life Program.

Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, completion of a Child Life internship, and preferred one year of full-time experience.

POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION

Must be eligible for professional certification by the Child Life Commission within six months of hire date. Prefer fully certified child life specialist.
