We Are Hiring

• Department: Children’s Comprehensive Care
• Schedule: M-F 8:00-4:30pm, with occasional evening and weekend hours
• Hospital: Children’s Comprehensive Care
• Location: Austin, TX 78757

What You Will Do

Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide social, emotional, and developmental support during pediatric patients' illness and hospitalization.

• Provide a caring and secure environment for patients and their families in pediatrics.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to plan appropriate interventions.
• Develop and participate in outreach and educational activities to inform families, staff, and the community about issues and services related to ill and hospitalized children.
• Maintain proper education to continue professional development.

What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Child Life Professional certification obtained within 12 months of hire or transfer date required.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree required.

Additional Preferences

• Bilingual.
• Comfortable with dogs.
• Certification must be obtained within the first year of hire.
