City and County of San Francisco's Human Services Agency seeks a Protective Service Worker for the Family and Children’s Services program. Under general supervision, you will conduct professional investigations, assess safety and risk, and develop service plans for children, youth, and families, guiding them toward permanent and stable living arrangements.

Formación

• Master’s Degree in Social Work from CSWE accredited program.
• OR Master’s Degree from a two-year counseling program with supervised field placement.
• Two semesters of graduate field placement or six months post-baccalaureate direct service experience.
• License: California driver’s license and clear MVR.

Responsabilidades

• Engage with families, communities and service providers to address safety and well-being needs of child, youth and family.
• Assess safety, risk, and protective capacity using designated tools.
• Develop and implement behavioral case plans in line with assessments and laws.
• Maintain case information in computerized management systems and ensure compliance.

Educación

Master’s Degree in Social Work (CSWE)

Master’s Degree in Counseling (2-year program)
