Job summary

The Champaign County Regional Planning Commission in Gilman, IL, seeks a Child Development Services Specialist to help develop, implement and assess the educational program required for comprehensive child development services.

The role supports programming consistency and compliance with funding sources and regulatory agencies, and collaborates with staff to ensure high-quality services. Schedule: 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., M-F; Starting wage: $30.27 per hour.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development.
• One-year professional experience in administration of an early childhood education program preferred.
• CLASS observer certified preferred.
• Knowledge of Head Start and other agency rules and regulations preferred.
• Previous experience with culture management and inclusion initiatives preferred.
• Previous experience with recruitment, staffing, and operations management preferred.
• Experience working in an early childhood setting preferred.
• Experience working with diverse populations preferred.

• Must meet all requirements of Illinois Department of Children and Family Services

Requirements
