Job summary

The Arc Prince George's County seeks a CDA Teacher's Aide to support children from birth to 5 years in Jaycee's Child Development Center, under the supervision of the Teacher, Nurse Administrator and Director. You will promote health and safety, respond to families, and apply person-centered practices.

This role emphasizes development across physical, emotional, and intellectual goals, requires CPR/FA certification, a high school diploma, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and motivation to work with children.
• Valid CPR/FA certification (adult, infant and child).
• Good communication skills are essential for this role.
• Physically able to complete training and assist children with needs.

Responsibilities

• Support children in a safe, developmentally appropriate manner per curriculum.
• Engage with classroom activities and provide educational enrichment.
• Assist with personal hygiene and mealtimes as needed.
• Communicate effectively with families, Nurse Administrator, and Teacher.
• Follow safety protocols and complete required training on time.
