Job summary

Children’s Crisis Treatment Center (CCTC) seeks a driver to safely transport children aged 5-13 experiencing crisis and behavioral health issues. The role involves morning arrivals, afternoon departures, and assisting children on and off the vehicle with vigilant adherence to safety and documentation procedures.

The driver will perform vehicle inspections, coordinate with care staff, and support program needs including facility upkeep and mail delivery.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and an excellent driving record.
• Demonstrates cultural sensitivity when working with diverse families and staff.
• Strong organizational skills to support program operations.

Responsibilities

• Transport children safely during morning arrivals and afternoon departures for the first 3 days of services; assist passengers on and off the vehicle.
• Provide families with safe door-to-door transportation to scheduled site visits; assist passengers on and off the vehicle.
• Conduct pre- and post-shift inspections of the vehicle for safety, cleanliness, and fuel.
• Report maintenance or service issues to Facilities Director for prompt action.
• Review ModivCare forms and manifest to ensure correct placement on the van manifest and adjust as needed.
• Provide daily manifests of children to be transported; submit to Administrative Specialist and Program Director by 2:30pm.
• Maintain accurate trip logs and submit weekly to Facilities Manager.
• Transport Care Coordinators and other program staff to home visits as needed.
• Assist with other program needs: facility cleanliness, minor on-site maintenance, mail delivery, and food service form delivery to Archdiocese of Philadelphia.
• Pay parking or ticket violations arising from own actions within the stated timeframe when informed of the violation.
• Participate in internal and external trainings to complete CCTC mandatory trainings.
• Uphold Sanctuary Model principles with clients, families, and staff in the Acute Partial Program.
