This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and is located at the Child Development Center, JB MDL, NJ, specifically the Dix location.

Who May Apply: Open to everyone. Applicants will be categorized by preference(s) and/or priority consideration eligibilities. Eligibility will be determined based on the questionnaire and proof of eligibility must be provided by the application deadline of 05/23/2025.
In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements below. Experience includes paid, unpaid, and volunteer work, including service through programs like Peace Corps, AmeriCorps, and other organizations. Your resume must clearly describe relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, transcripts are required.
Must be a high school graduate or equivalent; proof (diploma or equivalent) is required.
CY PROGRAM ASSISTANT (TARGET LEVEL): Six months experience working in a group program for children or youth at the CY-02 level, plus completion of applicable training modules; OR 30 semester hours above high school, including at least 15 in early childhood education, youth development, or related fields.
CY PROGRAM ASSISTANT (INTERMEDIATE LEVEL): Six months experience at the CY-01 level, completion of 3 AF modules (or equivalent), and AF Orientation Training; OR 15 semester hours above high school in related fields.
CY PROGRAM ASSISTANT (ENTRY LEVEL): This is an entry-level position; no previous experience required.
