Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Home and Community-Based Services Aide provides support and assistance with personal hygiene and household functions, enabling individuals to remain in their own homes.

Specific Duties

• Report observations of the client's condition to the Agency Director or accounts manager. Notify immediately of any incidents or accidents.
• Drive safely, comply with traffic laws, and wear a seat belt during business travel.
• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, hair care, denture care, nail care, skin care, transfers, and toileting assistance.
• Help with household tasks essential to the client's personal care.

Education and Experience

• Six months of home care experience preferred.
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license required.

Skills

• Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
• Ability to work independently in diverse home situations.
• Multitasking, self-direction, good time management, courtesy, and common sense.
• Good communication, writing, and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work harmoniously with diverse individuals.
