Job summary

Lakeview Covenant Church in Duluth, MN seeks a part-time Child Care Worker to provide safe, nurturing care for children across ages on Thursday evenings 6:15pm–8:30pm, with early arrival for a free dinner. Background checks will be completed.

Pay is $50 per day. Requires proven experience with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or youth programs; experience with individuals with disabilities valued. In-person role with meals provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive care for children across various age groups including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with special needs or disabilities.
• Ensure the safety of children at all times by adhering to health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary.
• Support classroom routines such as snack times, diaper changes, and play.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians as necessary.
• Assist with behavior management strategies to encourage positive interactions and developmentally appropriate conduct.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Worker to join our team, committed to fostering a safe and nurturing environment for children of all ages. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in young lives. (Great part-time opportunity for college students)

Seeking candidates for 1-2 Thursday evenings per month from 6:15pm - approx 8:30pm. You are able to arrive early (5:45pm) to enjoy a free dinner. Criminal Background checks will be completed.
