We are seeking passionate Assistant Teachers to join our Shelburne team, led by an experienced School Director. Our community is built on teamwork, passion, and ongoing learning.

Salary Range: $16.70 to $22.00

Your daily responsibilities include managing classroom needs to support children’s well-being, fostering a love of learning through social-emotional, STEAM, and nature-based activities. Maintaining regular communication with families is key to collaborative growth.

Qualifications:

• Comply with all VT Public Health and Child Care Regulations.
• Pass the required background check.
• Completion of the Fundamentals for Early Childhood Professionals’ course or Vermont Afterschool Essentials Certificate, and at least 12 months experience with children aged 3 or younger (preferred but not required).
• Serve as a mandated reporter, both on and off campus.
• Ensure classroom environments meet NAEYC’s Anti-Bias standards.
• Ability to stand, move, run, and play throughout the day.
• Lift up to 30 pounds multiple times daily.

$16.70 - $22 an hour

Salary Range: $16.70 to $22.00
