Bright Horizons is hiring for a Teacher in Brooklyn, NY. This full-time role focuses on supporting infants with developmentally appropriate activities, while pursuing further education options through our Horizons CDA & Degree Program.

The position requires compliance with background checks, a HS diploma or GED, and coursework in Early Childhood Education. Experience in child care is preferred, with a strong emphasis on safety and family communication.

Qualifications

• Must pass state and company background checks.
• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• 9 college credits in Early Childhood Education and a study plan leading to an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education.
• Associates or Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education is strongly preferred.
• New York State Teaching or eligible study plan preferred.
• At least two years of experience working in child care, daycare, or preschool preferred.

• New York State Teaching (B-2, N-6, 1-6, Special Education) or study plan eligible is Preferred

Physical Requirements

Compensation

The hourly rate for this position is between $23.00-28.10 per hour. The pay range listed here is what Bright Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening. Actual compensation offers within this range will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors.
