Job summary

Bright Horizons in the NYC area is seeking a full-time Teacher for an infant classroom. The role supports pursuing a CDA or college degree at no cost while delivering developmentally appropriate activities and care.

You will create hands-on activities, communicate with parents about daily milestones, and maintain a clean, safe classroom following Bright Horizons guidelines and state regulations.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED required.
• 9 college credits in Early Childhood Education and a study plan leading to an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education is required.
• Associates or Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education is strongly preferred.
• New York State Teaching (B-2, N-6, 1-6, Special Education) or study plan eligible is Preferred.
• At least two years of experience working in child care, daycare, or preschool preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children.
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines.
