Qualifications

Candidates must pass required state and company background checks, and meet minimum education and experience requirements:

  • 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED
  • 1 year of professional experience teaching in child care, daycare, or preschool settings (preferred)
  • 9 ECE college credits or CDA required
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in early education or related field (preferred)
  • Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) for children

Physical Requirements

This position requires compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations, including immunizations and employment physicals. You will work in person in an early education/preschool child care center, providing supervision, care, and curriculum delivery in accordance with policies and legal requirements to ensure children's safety.

Compensation

The hourly rate is between $17.75 and $21.70. Actual offers depend on experience, education, certifications, location, and other factors. The position is also eligible for a $1,250 hiring incentive.
