Child Care Teacher

Full-time positions are available with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Day shift, Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm.

Responsibilities:
  1. Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of children.
  2. Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones.
  3. Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines.
Qualifications:
  • Must pass required state and company background checks and meet minimum education and experience requirements.
  • At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
  • Preferably, 1 year of professional experience in child care, daycare, or preschool settings.
  • Preferred: CDA, Associate, or Bachelor's degree in early education or related field.
  • Required: Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) for children.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires compliance with all applicable federal, state, local, Bright Horizons', and client site requirements regarding immunizations, employment physicals, and health and safety training. You will work in person at an early education/preschool child care center, providing supervision, care, curriculum delivery, and services according to Bright Horizons' policies and legal requirements, ensuring children's safety.

Compensation and Benefits:

The hourly rate ranges from $15.75 to $21.00, depending on qualifications and shift. Actual offers depend on experience, education, certifications, location, and other factors.
