Job summary

Bright Horizons in Utah is hiring a Teacher. You will create engaging hands-on activities, communicate milestones to parents, and maintain a safe, clean classroom. You may support any classroom or age group across centers as needed, in person at our Bright Horizons locations.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• College-level coursework in early childhood education, CDA, or related degree preferred.
• 1 year of professional teaching experience in child care, daycare, or preschool preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) required.

Responsibilities

• Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines
• Provide support in any classroom or age group where teaching coverage is needed across a center or in nearby locations
