Sunrise Childcare and Learning Center in Columbus, OH is seeking an Assistant Teacher to support lead teachers and families in a nurturing, safe classroom environment.

You will help with instruction, daily activities, and maintaining a clean, organized space, while communicating with parents and upholding NAEYC-aligned practices.

This full-time role offers a collaborative team, opportunities for growth, and work hours from 7:00 AM with no evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Must meet Ohio state criteria for child care employment.

Responsabilités

• Ensuring the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks to 12 years.
• Assisting teachers with classroom instruction and daily activities.
• Maintaining a warm, clean, and safe classroom environment that supports growth and exploration.
• Interacting with children to encourage participation, creativity, and learning through play.
• Decorating classrooms and learning spaces as needed.
• Communicating effectively with parents and guardians regarding children’s daily activities and progress.
