Job summary

MountainHeart Community Services, Inc. is seeking a Supervisory Child Care Services Manager to lead staff in the Child Care Resource and Referral – Region V. You will train, mentor and evaluate staff while ensuring quality customer service and adherence to childcare policies.

You will coordinate with the Program Director and Subsidy/Resource Coordinator, supervise daily activities and maintain compliance with WV DoHS policies as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services, early childhood or related field and a thorough knowledge of childcare policies.
• Must have a valid West Virginia driver’s license; clear criminal background with no charges related to child abuse, domestic violence or drug charges; and a clear APS/CPS check.
• Must be bondable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff in assigned office(s).
• Train, coach and mentor employees on job duties and quality customer service delivery.
• Assist case managers in reducing their audit error rate.
• Audit casework to ensure compliance and maintain timelines.
• Complete staff evaluations and provide new hire orientation.
• Collaborate with Program Director and Subsidy/Resource Coordinator; follow up on complaints.
• Attend meetings, participate in workgroups and report monthly.
• Refer all suspected cases of child abuse and neglect as required.
