Job summary

Fox C-6 School District is seeking a Site Coordinator for the Character Kids Club (CKC) at a local Arnold school. You will oversee daily operations, supervise children, plan activities, and ensure safety and engagement during CKC sessions.

This 12-month position offers flexible status (Full-Time or Part-Time+20) with competitive hourly pay of $19.48. You will handle tuition collections, attendance, communications with families, and coordination with school staff.

Qualifications

• Requires 30 college credits with at least six in child-related courses or two years of experience working with children.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to perform administrative duties related to CKC.
• Ability to execute delegated responsibilities such as lesson planning, maintaining student records, and inventory of CKC supplies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children in CKC.
• Provide a safe, fun environment through group management and safety precautions.
• Maintain tuition collections, ledgers, and related administrative processes.
• Attend required staff meetings and trainings.
• Provide training to new CKC staff.
• Evaluate site assistants' work quality.
• Make observations and recommendations for CKC operations.
• Meet weekly with CKC Program Director; collect snacks, supplies, mail, and tuition collections.
• Maintain communication with parents/families and CKC updates.
• Coordinate with building personnel, office staff, custodial staff, and principal.
• Receive registration forms and CKC paperwork.
• Use district forms for incident, accident, and behavior reporting.
• Report incidents or suspicions of child abuse.
• Maintain neat appearance per CKC dress code.
• Keep CKC location clean and organized.
• Integrate Character Education into CKC activities.
• Handle all other CKC program responsibilities.
