Job summary

Big Blue Marble Academy in McKinney, TX is seeking an experienced School Director to lead a compassionate team and oversee center operations. You will recruit and develop teachers, ensure the global education curriculum is properly implemented, and maintain compliance with state standards and company branding.

You will drive enrollment, meet with parents and staff, and manage budgeting, reporting, and daily admin tasks.

Qualifications

• Must be local to Texas and meet state requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field or credential.
• Three to five years of proven management experience in a licensed childcare facility.
• Pass background checks and meet state requirements.
• CPR and First Aid Certification.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or G Suite.
• Experience with financial and administrative processes and systems.
• Strong knowledge of early childhood development.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire and train high-quality teachers and staff.
• Ensure our global education curriculum and branding are used appropriately.
• Adhere to state and corporate safety and teaching standards.
• Create marketing plans to promote the program in the community.
• Meet with parents and staff to communicate student goals and service.
• Maintain regular communication with parents about progress and activities.
• Handle administrative duties including budgeting and reporting.
• Maximize enrollment while maintaining required ratios.
• Generate reports for licensing, operations and marketing.
• Train and daily-use software systems and meet licensing requirements.

As an Early Childhood School Director,you will:

• Recruit, hire and train high-quality teachers and staff that are motivated to provide our top-notch learning environment for children.
• Ensure our global education curriculum, branding and age-appropriate learning are being utilized.
• Adhere to teaching standards and safety regulations as established by the state and corporate office.
• Create marketing plans to share our unique program throughout the community and to prospective parents through special events, tours, and enrollment.
• Meet with parents, staff, and leadership to communicate student goals and provide superior customer service.
• Remain in constant communication with parents and update them on the progress of their children and activities of the company and center.
• Tackle administrative duties that include accounting, budgeting, and others as assigned.
• Maximize enrollment while maintaining required ratio.
• Generate reports for licensing, operations and marketing according to company
• This requires the training and daily usage of various software systems. Responsible for meeting all licensing, training and safety requirements.

Requirements:

• Must be local to Texas
• Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field preferred, or other related credential
• Three to five years of proven management work experience in a licensed childcare facility
• Candidate must also pass all background checks and meet state requirements
• CPR and First Aid Certified
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and / or G Suite
• Experience working with financial and administrative processes and systems
• Excellent knowledge of early childhood child development
• Patience, flexibility and love for children
