Job summary

Big Blue Marble Academy in Texas is seeking a compassionate School Director who can lead a thriving early childhood program. You will recruit and develop teachers, oversee our global education curriculum and branding, and ensure high standards of safety and learning for children.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field preferred; or related credential.
• Three to five years of proven management experience in a licensed childcare facility.
• Pass all background checks and meet state requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification are required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or G Suite; experience with financial processes is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of early childhood development and child safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire and train high-quality teachers and staff.
• Ensure our global education curriculum and branding are used effectively.
• Adhere to teaching standards and state regulations.
• Create marketing plans to promote the program in the community.
• Meet with parents and staff to communicate goals and provide excellent service.
• Manage communications with parents about child progress and activities.
• Handle administrative duties including budgeting and enrollment management.
• Maximize enrollment while maintaining required staff-to-child ratios.
• Generate reports for licensing, operations and marketing.
• Train and daily-use various software systems; meet licensing and safety requirements.

As an Early Childhood School Director, you will

• Recruit, hire and train high-quality teachers and staff that are motivated to provide our top-notch learning environment for children.
• Ensure our global education curriculum, branding and age-appropriate learning are being utilized.
• Adhere to teaching standards and safety regulations as established by the state and corporate office.
• Create marketing plans to share our unique program throughout the community and to prospective parents through special events, tours, and enrollment.
• Meet with parents, staff, and leadership to communicate student goals and provide superior customer service.
• Remain in constant communication with parents and update them on the progress of their children and activities of the company and center.
• Tackle administrative duties that include accounting, budgeting, and others as assigned.
• Maximize enrollment while maintaining required ratio.
• Generate reports for licensing, operations and marketing according to company
• This requires the training and daily usage of various software systems. Responsible for meeting all licensing, training and safety requirements.

Requirements

• Must be local to Texas
• Potential start date: December 2026
• Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field preferred, or other related credential
• Three to five years of proven management work experience in a licensed childcare facility
• Candidate must also pass all background checks and meet state requirements
• CPR and First Aid Certified
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and / or G Suite
• Experience working with financial and administrative processes and systems
• Excellent knowledge of early childhood child development
• Patience, flexibility and love for children
