Job summary

BrightPath Kids in Union, KY is seeking a dedicated School Age Teacher/PM Bus Driver to join our team. You will work with teachers and families to provide a safe, nurturing environment following NAEYC guidelines and transport children after school.

The role requires 25+ age, a valid driver’s license, and a credential or degree in early childhood education. We offer competitive benefits and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education/related field or CDA or Career Pathway Level 3 or Bachelor's Degree in any field.
• 1 year of experience in a licensed child care facility preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have a valid Driver's License and be able to provide a copy of a good driving record.
• Must be at least 25 years of age.
• Ability to work within regular operating hours.
• Must meet state criteria for childcare employment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and supervision of school age children in one assigned classroom.
• Create developmentally appropriate curriculum according to NAEYC standards.
• Curate programs and activities based on children's interests and learning styles.
• Maintain a warm and safe environment that is clean and permits children to grow and explore.
• Partner with families to create plans to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Provide effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.
• Transporting children to and from school in the afternoons.
• Obeying all traffic laws.
• Ensuring safety of all children.
• Assisting students with getting on and off the bus if required.
• Other duties as assigned.

What will you be doing?
