Job summary

BrightPath Early Learning & Child Care is seeking dedicated early childhood educators to join our team. You will supervise children aged 6 weeks to 12 years, and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with NAEYC standards.

The role emphasizes collaboration with families to ensure the best possible care and education for each child. We offer opportunities for professional growth and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in ECE or related field (or equivalent).
• Associate degree in ECE or related field, CDA, or Head Teacher certification accepted.
• 12 credits in ECE courses accepted as an alternative.
• CDA or higher credentials are preferred where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and supervision of children aged 6 weeks to 12 years in one classroom.
• Create developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with NAEYC standards.
• Curate activities based on children's interests and learning styles.
• Maintain a warm, clean, and safe environment encouraging growth and exploration.
• Partner with families to develop plans for quality care and education.
• Provide effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education/related field OR Child Development Associate (CDA) credential OR Head Teacher certification OR 12 credits in Early Childhood Education courses OR Bachelor's Degree required
• 2+ years of experience in a licensed child care facility preferred
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and remain organized
• Ability to work within regular operating hours
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment
