Job summary

The School Board of Highlands County seeks a General Worker to support site operations at Sun n Lake Elementary in Sebring, Florida. The role includes supervising activities, taking roll calls, and assisting the Site Manager as needed to ensure a safe, productive environment for students.

Qualifications

• Typing 40 words per minute preferred for clerical duties.
• Ability to use materials, equipment and procedures related to the job duties.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Site Manager whenever necessary and fills in when Manager is absent
• Plans and supervises indoor/outdoor activities for the children
• Fills out accident/incident reports
• Takes roll call
• Notifies Site Manager when equipment or materials are needed
• CPR and Red Cross Certification should be kept current
• May receive training to administer medication to children
• Helps children with homework
