Grandmama's House is seeking a dedicated Child Care Provider to deliver nurturing, educational experiences for young children in Clarksville, TN. You will develop engaging lessons, lead activities, and maintain a safe, healthy classroom, tailoring approaches to each child's development.

You will communicate regularly with parents, supervise aides, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations while pursuing ongoing professional growth and quality improvement.

Under the supervision of the childcare center's management, the Child Care Provider will be responsible for providing a nurturing and educational environment for young children. This will involve developing engaging lesson plans, leading group activities, and maintaining a safe and healthy classroom environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of child development, allowing them to tailor their teaching approach to meet the individual needs of each child. Effective communication skills will be essential for building strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

What You'll Do

Requirements

• Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
• High energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment.
• A strong understanding of child development.
• Must clear full background check and must pass health screening.
• Requirements include the ability to take frequent walks, use hands and fingers, handle objects, tools or controls, talk to and hear voices at many levels. May also be required to kneel, bend, squat or crawl.
• A specific vision ability will be required including the ability to see up close and up to a certain distance, to see colors, have peripheral vision and depth perception.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
