Job summary

Everbrook Academy in Minnesota is seeking a Principal to lead a premier early education program. You will ensure safety, supervise staff, and deliver high-quality curriculum while partnering with families and the community.

As Principal, you will recruit and develop team members, drive enrollment and local partnerships, and uphold licensing standards. A Minnesota Director Qualification and a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education are required, with 1,040 hours of supervision experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field.
  • At least 9 quarter credits or 90 hours of accredited coursework in staff supervision, human relations, and child development.
  • Minnesota Director qualification requirements will be verified during the interview process.
  • Knowledge of Minnesota childcare Licensing requirements and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Be a leader: plan work schedules, evaluate staff performance, and develop improvement plans; coach teachers on curriculum.
  • Be an expert: ensure licensing standards are followed and build partnerships with the community.

The Principal assists in the creation and representation of Everbrook as a premier child care brand, which reflects high business and professional standards. The Principal is responsible for all aspects of effective school operations, ensuring the safety of the children, supervising the school staff, and managing delivery of quality early education programming.

As an Everbrook Principal, you will:

  • Be a leader! Manages school staff by planning work schedules, evaluating staff performance, and developing performance improvement plans. Assists with the implementation of Company-provided curriculum, which includes coaching, communicating, and interpreting standards with teachers.
  • Be an expert! Ensure the school is operating in accordance with company and state licensing standards, while promoting a positive partnership within the surrounding community.
  • Be ready to connect! Drive the enrollment and marketing of Everbrook Academy as a premier brand in the child care industry utilizing grassroots marketing strategies, community outreach, and local partnerships.
  • Be an innovator! Spark imagination, build self-esteem, and help children discover new things each day in an educational, caring, and safe environment.
  • Be a team player! Recruit, select, and retain quality staff.
Job Requirements:
  • Minnesota Director Qualified: Must be at least 21 years of age with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Eligibility to meet Minnesota Director qualification requirements will be verified during the interview process.
  • Minimum of 1,040 hours (approximately 6 months full-time) of paid or unpaid staff supervision experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree required in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field. - At least 9 quarter credits or 90 hours of accredited coursework in staff supervision, human relations, and child development.
  • Knowledge of Minnesota childcare Licensing requirements and regulations

Compensation/Benefits:

  • Compensation of $60,000-$75,000/salary based on Position, Education and Experience. Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options.
  • Health insurance (medical, dental, and vision), paid time-off, and 401K (plus company match) provided for full-time employees.
