Location and Compensation

Center: Oxford, CT
Pay Range: $17.00 - $20.50 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time

What You Will Do

As a Lead Teacher, you will:

• Ensure the safety and supervision of children aged 6 weeks to 12 years in your classroom.
• Create developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with NAEYC standards.
• Design programs and activities based on children's interests and learning styles.
• Maintain a warm, safe, clean environment that encourages exploration and growth.
• Partner with families to develop personalized care and education plans.
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians about their child's progress and needs.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education/related field, Child Development Associate (CDA), Head Teacher certification, or Bachelor's Degree.
• Preferred 2+ years of experience in a licensed child care setting.

• Ability to work within regular operating hours and meet state employment criteria.
