Job summary

BrightPath Kids in Twinsburg, OH is seeking a Lead Teacher to work with children from 6 weeks to 12 years, in a nurturing classroom setting aligned with NAEYC standards.

You'll develop developmentally appropriate curricula, engage with families, and maintain a safe, clean learning space while supporting children’s growth daily.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, or CDA credential, or Career Pathway Level 3, or Bachelor's degree.
• 1 year of experience in a licensed child care facility preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to multitask.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks - 12 years in one assigned classroom.
• Create developmentally appropriate curriculum according to NAEYC standards.
• Curate programs and activities based on children’s interests and learning styles.
• Maintain a warm and safe environment that is clean and permits children to grow and explore.
• Partner with families to create plans to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Provide effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.

What will you be doing?

As a Lead Teacher, you will work side‑by‑side with teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care, according to NAEYC guidelines. Responsibilities include:

Requirements
