The position may involve nutrition planning, food safety, and classroom support as needed. Ideal candidates will have cooking/food prep experience in childcare settings, a willingness to learn regulations, and flexible availability to meet scheduling needs.

Qualifications

• Experience cooking and preparing meals for multiple individuals in a childcare setting.
• Willingness to learn and follow state and local regulations.
• Flexible scheduling to accommodate hours.

Responsibilities

• Create home-style, nutritional meals within the school menu and budget.
• Follow daily menu including USDA/licensing/health dept regulations.
• Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Assist in classrooms as needed as an Assistant Teacher/Floater.
