Open to permanent candidates or those who have filed for Promotion to Associate Public Health Sanitarian Exam No. 6513, with a strong background in environmental health and excellent communication skills.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree with 30 semester credits in physical/biological sciences and 2 years full-time inspection experience.
• Associate degree with 15 semester credits in physical/biological sciences and 4 years inspection experience.
• Education/experience equivalent to 1 or 2 above with at least 60 semester credits.

Aufgaben

• Assign, supervise and evaluate the work of Child Care Inspectors.
• Ensure adherence to regulations and procedures for field inspections and monitoring visits.
• Conduct follow-up visits and evaluate program performance.
• Inspect facilities, issue notices of violation, and make permit/closure recommendations.
• Review databases and case files for timely and accurate entries.
• Respond to inquiries from the public and other agencies.
• Train and coach new staff and provide reinforcement training.
