Qualifications

• Masters degree in education with 12 graduate credits in early childhood or elementary education and three years of full-time experience in a related role.
• Bachelor's degree in education with student teaching in early childhood education and three years of full-time experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and evaluate field activities of Early Childhood Education Consultants to ensure staff conduct site visits within timeframes.
• Review program files and monitor caseload maintenance according to Bureau goals.
• Conduct monitoring visits and accompany staff to programs to evaluate performance.
• Perform field visits of special/difficult nature, issue notices of violation, and advise on permits or closures for health hazards.
• Provide training and coaching for staff and providers on childcare best practices.
• Represent the Department at professional conferences and participate in continuing education.
