Job summary

Lakeville Area Schools is seeking a Child Care Float Assistant/Paraprofessional to support Pre-K to elementary students and students with disabilities. You will work with a supervisor to deliver engaging curriculum and maintain a welcoming classroom environment.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills. Childcare experience is required, with opportunities for career growth within our close-knit district.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age, High School diploma plus AA Degree or experience working with children in a childcare or school setting.

Responsibilities

• Assists Instructors in preparing and implementing daily curriculum, recreational activities and day-to-day onsite operations.
• Provide prep and clean up of projects, snacks and activities.
• Communicate any issues to the instructor/supervisor.
• Provide support to children with disabilities.
