Learning Care Group in Florida is seeking a Child Care Cook, Food Specialist, to lead overall food preparation for enrolled children, adapting to menu changes and meeting meal and snack schedules within budget and regulatory guidelines.

You will create nutritious meals in a home-style approach, follow USDA/licensing standards, manage inventory, and assist in classrooms as needed, within a supportive, growth-oriented team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in cooking for childcare facility or similar setting.
• Willingness to adhere to state/local regulations and safety standards.
• Flexible hours and schedule as needed.

Responsibilities

• Create home-style, nutritious meals within menu and budget constraints.
• Follow daily menu per director and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain inventory of food and supplies and reorder as needed.
• Assist in classrooms as an Assistant Teacher/Floater when required.
