Job summary

BrightPath Kids in Maynard, MA is seeking a Certified Teacher to join our BrightPath family. You will work with teachers and families to provide a nurturing home-away-from-home for children in our care, following NAEYC guidelines.

Responsibilities include leading classrooms, mentoring staff, and developing developmentally appropriate curricula. A MA teaching credential or equivalent is required, with a welcoming team and good growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education/related field OR CDA credential OR MA Teacher certification required.
• 2+ years of experience in a licensed child care facility preferred.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized.
• Ability to work within regular operating hours.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing programs and activities in multiple classrooms.
• Mentoring Teachers and Assistant Teachers within our centers.
• Creating developmentally appropriate curriculum according to NAEYC standards.
• Curating programs and activities based on children’s interests and learning styles.
• Partnering with families to create plans to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Providing effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.

Pay Range: $21.00- $30.00

*Sign On Bonus for Certified Teachers- $1,500 paid out in three installments (90days, 180 days, 360 days)*
