Job summary

Taylor Corporation’s Golden Heart Child Care Center in North Mankato, MN is hiring Child Care Center Teachers for infants and toddlers. You will help meet each child’s educational and physical needs and build positive relationships with their families.

Responsibilities include planning daily activities, maintaining safety, supporting the center program in the coordinator’s absence, and contributing to parent conferences with progress notes and observations.

Qualifications

• Credits to meet MN DHS Assistant Teacher qualifications.
• Minimum two year degree that meets Department of Human Services qualifications.
• Must be willing to fulfill responsibilities in accordance with the center’s policies and philosophy.
• Must be physically able to see and hear on-going activities of the children and able to lift a minimum of 60 pounds.

• Plan and carry out activities which are developmentally appropriate for the children.

Your Opportunity: Golden Heart Child Care Center, a Taylor Corporation company in North Mankato, MN, is looking to add more Child Care Center Teachers to our team of qualified staff in the infant and toddler space! You would be responsible for meeting the educational as well as physical needs of each individual child, treating each child with dignity and respect, and establishing a positive relationship with the parents. You would also be responsible for the implementation and continuation of the center program in the absence of the coordinator.

Shift

Your Shift: Monday - Friday; 30 to 40 hours per week between the hours of 6:30am - 6:00pm

You Must Have

Salary

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $14-16. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation’s total compensation and benefits package for employees.
