Job summary

Dysart Unified School District in Surprise, AZ seeks a part-time Program Assistant (0.75 FTE) to support a well-organized school program environment for students. You will assist with daily center operations, ensure licensing requirements are met, and help process applications while maintaining student files.

Responsibilities include supervising volunteers, developing activity schedules, coordinating with staff and parents, and keeping the program environment clean and safe.

Qualifications

• Six months of child care experience.
• High school diploma or GED; or 12 college credits including at least six in early childhood or related field.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in early childhood or related field; CDA/NAC/CCP credential acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Set up Center and prepare materials.
• Assist with daily operation to meet licensing, fire, and sanitation requirements.
• Help process participant applications and maintain student files.
• Supervise volunteers, tutors and other assigned staff.
• Develop activity schedules aligned with program requirements.
• Maintain open communication with parents and provide monthly program information.
• Arrange and manage supplies and equipment.
