Job summary

Learning Care Group in Edison, NJ is seeking a Housekeeping Aide to help maintain a clean, safe environment for children and staff. You will perform janitorial tasks and support classroom and facility upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Keep things fresh: maintain clean, safe, orderly classrooms, building and playground; vacuum, mop, dust, clean restrooms, empty trash.
• Keep things working: clean school equipment, furniture, fixtures and walls; restrooms and dispensers.
• Keep things festive: assist with putting up and removing seasonal decorations and displays.

As a Housekeeping Aide, you:

• Keep things fresh! Work to keep the building, classrooms, and playground in a clean, safe, orderly condition. Completes janitorial tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning windows, and restrooms. Gathers and empty trash.
• Keep things working! Assist in cleaning school equipment, furniture, fixtures, and walls. Clean restrooms and refill dispensers.
• Keep things festive! Assist with putting up and removing seasonal decorations and displays throughout the year.

Job Requirements:

• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay $16.40-17.03 hourly, Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options; based on Position, Education and Experience / any other compensation offered
• Immediate Health insurance (medical, dental and vision), paid time-off and 401K (plus company match) provided for full-time employees.
• Limited medical offered for part-time workers.
• Education assistance including tuition reimbursement and certification available to all employees
• Monday-Friday work week
