Job summary

BrightPath Kids, Delhi Center, is seeking a Center Director to lead day-to-day operations, partnering with teachers and families to provide a safe, nurturing home-away-from-home for children. You will recruit and develop staff, supervise programs, and ensure compliance with state licensing and health standards.

The role emphasizes staff training, parent communication, and delivering high-quality early childhood education within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education/related field required.
• 5+ years of child care or teaching experience preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to supervise others.
• Must be able to function independently within the Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Oversee center operations, staff recruitment and development, policy compliance, safety, hygiene, and licensing.
• Align staff with classroom objectives and expectations.
• Handle payroll, AP/AR, and general communications.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations in the building.
• Coordinate training and professional development for all staff.
• Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians.

What will you be doing?

Responsibilities

As a Center Director, you will work side-by-side with teachers, children, and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care. Responsibilities include:

• Managing the overall operation of the center including recruitment and development of staff, management of policies and procedures, child safety, environmental health/hygiene, and state licensing.


• Ensuring that all staff members understand the objectives and expectations within each classroom.


• Managing administrative tasks such as processing payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general communications .


• Understanding and enforcing all state regulations within the building.


• Implementing and ensuring completion of training for all staff members.


• Providing effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.
