Child Care Center Cook

No weekends! Must be available to work Monday through Friday, preferably from 2:00pm to 6:00pm.

Bring your cooking talents and kitchen management skills as a Cook at Bright Horizons. You'll plan menus, prepare meals, and manage inventory, making a positive impact on children, families, and staff.

As a Cook, your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and preparing nutritionally balanced meals for children and staff
• Maintaining accurate inventory and placing orders as needed
• Managing meal prep, cleaning, and sanitation compliance

Requirements:

Candidates must pass all required background checks and meet minimum education and experience requirements:

• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED
• Relevant experience in a licensed child care center, public school, or commercial kitchen

Physical Requirements:

This role requires compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations, including immunizations, physicals, and training. You will work in person at an early education/preschool center, ensuring the safety and well-being of children and staff.

Compensation:

The hourly rate ranges from $15.00 to $17.51, based on experience, education, certifications, location, and other factors.
