Kids Country in Hartville, OH is seeking a Teacher Assistant to work with teachers and families to provide a home-away-from-home environment for children from 6 weeks to 12 years, following NAEYC guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks – 12 years.
• Assist teachers with classroom instruction.
• Decorate classrooms inside and outside as needed.
• Maintain a warm, safe environment that is clean and permits children to grow and explore.
• Interact with children to encourage their involvement in activities.
• Provide effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.
