Job summary

BrightPath Kids in Westford, MA is hiring a Teacher Assistant to partner with teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children, following NAEYC guidelines. You will support classroom instruction and create a warm, safe environment that fosters growth.

Responsibilities include supervising children, decorating spaces as needed, and maintaining open communication with parents. Paid training is provided; join a community that offers childcare discounts and career growth

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized.
• Ability to work within regular operating hours.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks - 12 years.
• Assist teachers with instruction in the classroom.
• Decorate inside and outside of classrooms as needed.
• Maintain a warm and safe environment that is clean and promotes growth and exploration.
• Interact with children to encourage participation in activities.
• Provide effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.
