Job summary

BrightPath Early Learning & Child Care is seeking a full-time Teacher Assistant at the Windsor West Center. You will work closely with teachers to support a loving, safe classroom aligned with NAEYC guidelines, helping children grow through structured activities and attentive supervision.

You will assist with instruction, decorate spaces, and communicate with families to ensure a positive learning experience for children from 6 weeks to 12 years old. Training is provided for classroom procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong customer service skills required.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and supervision of children aged 6 weeks to 12 years.
• Assist teachers with classroom instruction.
• Decorate classrooms as needed to create a welcoming environment.
• Maintain a clean, warm, and safe learning space for exploration.
• Engage with children to encourage participation in activities.
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians about their child.

Responsibilities

As a Teacher Assistant, you will work side-by-side with teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care, according to NAEYC guidelines. Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks - 12 years.
• Assisting teachers with instruction in the classroom.
• Decorating inside and outside of classrooms as needed.
• Maintaining a warm and safe environment that is clean and permits children to grow and explore.
• Interacting with children to encourage their involvement in activities.
• Providing effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.
