Pay Range: $16.35 - $18.50 per hour

Job Type: Full-Time, Part-Time, Seasonal

What will you be doing?

As a Teacher Assistant, you will work side-by-side with teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care, according to NAEYC guidelines. Responsibilities include:

1. Ensuring the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks – 12 years.
2. Assisting teachers with instruction in the classroom.
3. Decorating inside and outside of classrooms as needed.
4. Maintaining a warm and safe environment that is clean and permits children to grow and explore.
5. Interacting with children to encourage their involvement in activities.
6. Providing effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.
