Salary Range: $17.50 - $18.50 Hourly

Description

  • Develop a positive environment for children, parents, and staff.
  • Understand the developmental needs of children and families.
  • Be a positive role model, demonstrate good judgment, and follow program rules.
  • Supervise children and ensure their safety.
  • Communicate effectively with families and maintain positive relationships.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Child development knowledge and experience preferred.
  • Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups.
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills; ability to complete tasks timely.

Childcare education, background checks, and other trainings are required and supported by the YMCA after hiring.
