Job summary

Pinedale Aquatic Center is seeking a reliable Child Care Assistant to join the Recreation team. You will care for children in the Child Care Room, help create a safe, stimulating environment, and assist with daily operation requirements. Applicants must enjoy working with kids and be at least 16.

CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 30 days, and pass a background check if over 18. Part-time role averaging 12 hours per week with typical shifts Tue, Wed, Thu 8am–12pm;

Qualifications

• Applicants must be 16 years of age or older.
• CPR/1st Aid certified or able to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Pass a mandatory background check if over 18.

Description:

This individual will work as a member of the Recreation team and be responsible for taking care of children in the Child Care Room. This individual must enjoy working with kids, maintain a safe and stimulating environment, and assist in complying with operation requirements. This position requires physical movements during each shift, including, but not limited to, walking, standing, lifting, and crouching.

Qualifications:

Applicants must be 16 years of age or older; CPR/1st Aid certified or able to obtain within 30 days of hire; and pass a mandatory background check (if over the age of 18)

Terms:

Part-time position, averaging 12 hours per week. Typical shifts are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8am-12pm with possibility for more hours in the future.
